Amazing news from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024, where Carpathian Single Malt was awarded Double Gold and Silver Medals.

The Double Gold medal awarded to Vradiano Cask Finish that scored 98 points out of 100 is an incredible achievement for a young whisky. Moreover, out of thousands of entries over the course of the year, only a small percentage are awarded Double Gold medals.

Allan Anderson, Master Distiller Carpathian Single Malt & Whisky Director Alexandrion Group, said: “Double Gold medal winners are selected by the most trusted blind judging panels in the world. Scoring 98 points out of 100 in San Francisco World Spirits Competition is an incredible achievement for a whisky as young as Carpathian Single Malt Whisky. This Double Gold Medal reconfirms the exceptional quality and unique tasting notes of Vradiano, which was also recently designated Country & Category 'winner' at the World Whiskies Awards 2024”.

Peated Cask Strength and Fetească Neagră expressions were both awarded Silver Medals in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Organised by the 'Tasting Alliance', starting from 2000, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition this is the largest and longest-running blind evaluation competition in the space, using the guiding principles of legacy, integrity and impartiality in all that they do. The SFWSC medal is a testament to the hard work or producers and distillers and a universally recognised indicator of exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
